Addressing the Defense and Martyrs’ Day celebrations at GHQ, Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa said that salutations were extended to the families of all the martyrs and distinguished guests. Defending the homeland is a sacred duty. The sacrifices of the martyrs are an expression of love for the homeland. The sacrifices of the martyrs will not be in vain. We have never forgotten our martyrs.
The Army Chief said that he would not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the defense of the country.
The defense forces have made the national defense invincible through self-reliance. Without public support, any army is a wall of sand. Some people play in the hands of the enemies of the country. The negative intentions of the enemy will never succeed. General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that there was no scope for violent behavior on this issue.
